Prevent Skin Cancer

Avon's sunscreen products protect against both UVA and UVB rays -- this is the meaning of "broad spectrum" protection. You can think of A for Aging and B for Burning. UVA rays are the primary cause of skin aging damage such as wrinkles. UVB rays cause sunburn. Both can contribute to skin cancer. Avon offers a wide range of sunscreen products, with and without Bug Guard, including for children and babies, and waterproof.

The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends that these sun safety habits be part of everyone's daily health care:

* Avoid unnecessary sun exposure, especially during the sun's peak hours (10 AM to 4 PM).
* Seek the shade.
* Cover up with clothing, including a broad-brimmed hat, long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and UV-blocking sunglasses.
* Wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 15 or higher.
* Avoid tanning parlors and artificial tanning devices.
* Keep newborns out of the sun. Sunscreens can be used on babies over the age of six months.
* Teach children good sun-protective practices.
* Examine your skin from head to toe once every month.
* Have a professional skin examination annually.

    Hi Madeleine,

Do you want to Prevent Skin cancer? I have been looking
around at blogs related to Prevent Skin Cancer and I found your site.

Nationally, there are more new cases of Skin Cancer each year than the combined incidence of breast, prostate, lung and colon cancers. Putting proven cancer protection and early detection techniques into action could eliminate at least 100,000 cancer cases and 60,000 cancer deaths in the U.S. each year. I have a site that I thought would help. So I wanted to leave you a quick message while I was here.

Take a look at my site you will be glad
you had did! The site deals with stop skin cancer,Dermafend, and Prevent Skin cancerrelated information.

Madeleine, I have some great stuff on my site that may be of assistance to you or some one you know.

    Regards!

    Donald
